What is Profhilo treatment and who is it for?

Profhilo is for people noticing crepey, lax or dull skin on the face, neck or hands rather than deep wrinkles alone. Instead of reshaping features, this injectable skin booster uses high-concentration hyaluronic acid to help improve hydration, elasticity and overall skin quality.

At The London Road Clinic, a typical plan involves two sessions about four weeks apart, placed in specific “bio-remodelling” points. Over the following weeks, many people notice smoother texture and a healthier glow.

We’ll review your medical history, expectations and treatment options before deciding if Profhilo suits you. Results, comfort and longevity vary and aren’t guaranteed.

Profhilo - Bioremodelling Skin Booster

Profhilo delivers one of the highest HA concentrations available (64 mg/2 ml) using NAHYCO technology to create hybrid complexes of high- and low-molecular-weight HA. It’s designed for tissue remodelling and laxity improvement of the face, neck and décolletage.

Treatment plans are tailored. Typical protocols use the BAP technique (five points per side) over two sessions about four weeks apart. Results build as hydration and elasticity improve, with maintenance as needed.

Top Benefits

  1. Deep hydration with improved elasticity and skin quality

  2. Addresses laxity without adding filler-like volume

  3. Quick sessions, small injection points, minimal downtime

  4. Works across face, neck, and décolletage; complements other treatments

  • What it treats: Early laxity, dullness, dehydration, fine lines; skin quality changes on face, neck, décolletage, and select body areas.

  • How it works: High- and low-MW HA (32 mg + 32 mg per 2 ml) form hybrid complexes that spread and stimulate remodelling; delivered via mapped BAP points for wide diffusion.

  • Who it’s for/contraindications: Adults seeking skin-quality improvement. Avoid during pregnancy/breastfeeding, active skin infection, known HA hypersensitivity; assess bleeding disorders, autoimmune disease, or anticoagulants in consultation.

  • Risks & side-effects: Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness; rare infection or nodules.

  • Downtime & aftercare: Usually back to normal the same day. Avoid strenuous exercise, heat, and intense sun for 24-48 hours; use SPF and gentle skincare.

  • When you’ll likely see results: Hydration and texture often improve within weeks. A standard course is 2 sessions ~4 weeks apart, with effects commonly lasting around 6 months before maintenance.
