Lumecca® IPL Skin Rejuvenation
Lumecca is a powerful IPL photofacial that uses high-intensity light to improve skin tone by targeting excess pigment and redness. It’s particularly effective for sun spots, facial thread veins, rosacea and post-acne marks, often delivering visible results in fewer sessions than traditional IPL. By selectively breaking down brown and red pigments, Lumecca helps restore a clearer, brighter and more even complexion over the weeks following treatment.

Treatment is quick with minimal downtime. Most clients experience only mild redness for a few hours, and pigmentation may darken briefly before flaking away within around a week. A course of three sessions is usually recommended for optimal results, although some concerns respond sooner. We tailor settings to your skin and goals, carry out patch testing where needed, and can combine Lumecca with complementary treatments for enhanced results.

What it treats: Targets sun spots, freckles, uneven skin tone, redness from rosacea, broken capillaries and post-acne marks to visibly improve overall skin clarity.
-
How it works: High-intensity light selectively heats pigment and tiny blood vessels so dark spots shed and redness fades naturally over the following days to weeks.
-
Who it’s for / contraindications: Best suited to skin types I–III, with cautious use on type IV, and isn’t suitable for very dark skin, active tan, pregnancy, certain medications, or active skin infections.
-
Risks & side effects: Usually mild and temporary, including redness, warmth and darkening of pigment before it clears, with rarer risks minimised through expert settings and correct aftercare.
-
Downtime & aftercare: Downtime is minimal, with most clients back to normal the next day, provided sun exposure is avoided and gentle skincare and SPF are used.
-
When you’ll likely see results: Skin often looks brighter within days, pigmentation clears within 7–10 days, redness settles over 1–2 weeks, and results build further across a treatment course.
