Lydia founded The London Road Clinic in Newark in 2023. Her training began in a clinical aesthetic setting and progressed to specialist instruction under Dr Zein Obagi: one of the most widely published figures in skin science, and the physician behind the Obagi skin health system. That education gives her a grounding in skin biology that most aesthetic practitioners do not have: an understanding of how skin actually behaves across different Fitzpatrick types, not just how to modify its surface.
The clinic she built operates on a principle she applies to every consultation: the right treatment, for the right person, in the right order, with honest expectations. She will tell a client when a treatment is unlikely to deliver what they are hoping for, and recommend the one that will.
