LED Light Therapy: how it works
Dermalux uses clinically studied blue, red and near-infrared wavelengths to energise skin cells and support specific treatment outcomes. Blue light is used for acne-prone skin, red light supports collagen activity and repair, and near-infrared helps calm inflammation and deepen healing. At The London Road Clinic, wavelengths are combined and tailored to individual goals, whether that is clarity, calm, brightness or recovery after another treatment.

LED is cumulative, and a course runs over several weeks. What you use in between should stay simple. The first item is the clinic's own at-home mask, from Dermalux, the manufacturer whose units we use in the treatment room.

A short course, close together
The clinic is at 65 London Road, Newark-on-Trent, NG24 1RZ, with free parking at the front.
A short course is what makes the difference for a specific condition, and the sessions want to sit reasonably close together. That is the part worth planning: several visits over a few weeks rather than one appointment.
Patients travel in from Balderton, Farndon, Collingham, Southwell and Bingham, and from Lincoln, Grantham and Sleaford. Sessions are short and there is nothing to recover from, so they slot into a working day easily.
If you are coming any distance, this pairs well with another treatment in the same visit. Ask when you book and we will build the appointment around it.
