The treatment
How Radio Frequency (Forma) works
Forma delivers controlled radiofrequency energy to warm the skin and stimulate collagen production over a series of sessions. The heat is precisely managed for comfort, and the effect on the skin builds gradually rather than appearing immediately. At The London Road Clinic it is used for mild laxity and fine lines on the lower face, jawline, neck and selected body areas. Results are intentionally modest and progressive, not a facelift alternative.

After your appointment
Aftercare
There is no downtime. Use gentle skincare and SPF, and follow your clinician’s advice if combining Forma with other treatments such as LED or facials.
What Forma is not
Forma suits someone whose skin has softened slightly rather than someone whose skin has dropped. It warms the deeper layer and lets collagen do the work, weekly, across a series. Nobody walks out looking different, which is exactly the point and also why some people find it dull. If you want a visible change on the day, this is not it, and I would rather say so now.

A weekly series
The clinic is at 65 London Road, Newark-on-Trent, NG24 1RZ, with free parking at the front.
Forma is booked as a weekly series, which makes it the most travel-sensitive treatment on our list after laser. A week is not long enough to let a difficult drive slide, so be realistic about it before the first appointment rather than after the third.
Newark sits where the A1 meets the A46, so the clinic is a short drive from Southwell, Bingham, Collingham and Bottesford, and within comfortable reach of West Bridgford, Radcliffe on Trent, Lincoln and Grantham. Sessions are comfortable, warm rather than uncomfortable, and there is nothing to recover from.
Tell us at the first session if a particular day of the week works and we will hold it for the run.
