The treatment
How Plasma Pen (Plaxel+) works
Plaxel+ works by creating controlled plasma arcs that produce precise micro-injuries at the skin surface. These micro-injuries contract tissue immediately and trigger a healing response that supports collagen remodelling and surface tightening over the following weeks. The clinic uses it for carefully selected concerns, including upper hooded eyelids, fine lines around the mouth, crow's feet, selected stretch marks and some scar concerns.

After your appointment
Aftercare
Strict SPF and careful aftercare are essential. Expect visible dotting and healing, avoid picking, follow all wound-care instructions and protect the treated area closely from sun exposure.
Plan the week after
The clinic is at 65 London Road, Newark-on-Trent, NG24 1RZ, with free parking at the front.
Some areas respond after a single treatment and others do better with a second. Either way, the thing to plan is the recovery rather than the drive: small crusts form over the treated area and take several days to come away on their own.
With the A1 and A46 both running through Newark, the clinic is easy to reach from Balderton, Farndon and Southwell, from Bingham, East Bridgford and the Vale of Belvoir, and from West Bridgford, Melton Mowbray and Sleaford.
Book when you have a quiet stretch afterwards. Do not pick at it, keep it dry, and let it lift in its own time. Around the eyes especially, expect to look like you have had something done for the best part of a week.
