Aftercare
Use gentle skincare and SPF, avoid active ingredients and heavy exercise for the period advised and follow all microneedling aftercare carefully while the skin barrier recovers.
Judging the result
Microneedling is a course, not an appointment, and I would rather say so before you book than after your first session. Each pass is a controlled injury, and the result is what your skin builds in the weeks that follow. For acne scarring in particular, judging it after one session tells you nothing. Judge it after the course, and against a photograph rather than a memory.

A short course, and a quiet 48 hours
The clinic is at 65 London Road, Newark-on-Trent, NG24 1RZ, with free parking at the front.
A short course produces the stronger result, so plan for several visits rather than one. Each is followed by redness for a day or two, closer to mild sunburn than to anything dramatic.
The clinic is a short drive from Southwell, Bingham, Tuxford and Collingham, and the A1 and A46 bring West Bridgford, Keyworth, Lincoln, Grantham and Nettleham within range. Book so that the two days after each session are quiet ones.
Come with clean skin and no makeup, and leave it off for the rest of the day afterwards.
