Dermaplaning is a manual exfoliation treatment that uses a sterile, single-use blade to lift dead surface cells and fine vellus hair in one pass. This leaves the skin feeling smoother and looking brighter while also helping makeup glide on more evenly and skincare absorb more effectively. At The London Road Clinic it may also be paired with a mild peel or Dermalux LED for extra radiance.

Aftercare
Use gentle skincare and SPF, avoid harsh exfoliants for the time advised and follow the clinic’s instructions if dermaplaning is combined with a peel or LED.

Skin is more exposed for a few days after dermaplaning, so this is the week to keep things gentle. A mild cleanser, a moisturiser and a daily SPF, and nothing abrasive until the clinic says otherwise.

A short appointment, whenever it suits

Dermaplaning works as a one-off before an event or as a repeated part of an ongoing skin plan. Either way it is a single short appointment with nothing to recover from, which makes it one of the easier things to fit around a working day.
With the A1 and A46 both running through Newark, the clinic is easy to reach from Balderton, Farndon and Southwell, from Bingham, East Bridgford and the Vale of Belvoir, and from West Bridgford, Melton Mowbray and Sleaford. There is no downtime, so a lunchtime slot works.
