How Profhilo Structura works
Profhilo Structura uses a thermally stabilised formulation of 90mg of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid per 2ml, a notably higher concentration than standard Profhilo. Rather than spreading through the dermis to improve surface skin quality, it is placed via cannula into the superficial fat layer beneath the skin: the adipose tissue responsible for facial contour and structural support. Once in place, it activates fat cells to behave more youthfully, stimulates collagen and elastin production and reorganises the extracellular matrix, restoring firmness and definition from within. The result is a natural structural lift rather than an added or sculpted volume. Avoid vigorous exercise, swimming, saunas and extreme heat for 48 hours after treatment. Keep skincare gentle and follow all injectable aftercare guidance from your clinician. Swelling and tenderness typically settle within 24 to 72 hours.

Where Structura sits
Structura is the one I explain most often, because it sits between two things people already know. It is not standard Profhilo and it is not filler. It goes into the fat layer beneath the skin, which is the layer that thins with age and thins fastest with weight loss. If you have lost a lot of weight and your face has hollowed before the rest of you caught up, this is the conversation to have.

Two visits, then twice a year at most
The clinic is at 65 London Road, Newark-on-Trent, NG24 1RZ, with free parking at the front.
Two sessions thirty days apart, then maintenance every six to nine months. So the demanding part is a single month, and after that this is one of the lowest-frequency treatments we offer. Worth knowing if you are weighing it against something that needs you here every week.
