Laser hair removal
Six sessions, and the price for your area is on this page
Hair responds to laser only while the follicle is in active growth, and a share of yours is dormant at any one time. That single fact sets the shape of the whole course: six to eight sessions spaced to work through the cycle, rather than one appointment that finishes the job. A clinic quoting you two sessions is describing something laser does not do.
The clinic runs a Cynosure Elite+, which carries an Alexandrite wavelength at 755nm and an Nd:YAG at 1064nm. Two wavelengths on one platform widen the range of skin tones that can be treated, because the longer Nd:YAG reaches the follicle while passing over more of the pigment in the skin above it. Your practitioner chooses between them at the patch test, which happens before your first session rather than at it.
Newark being in Nottinghamshire changes what a laser clinic here has to do. Part IV of the Nottinghamshire County Council Act 1985 makes a premises licence a legal requirement for anyone running a Class 4 laser on the public, and the licence names every practitioner individually as an Authorised User. Ours was granted in August 2026 after an officer inspected the premises. Lincolnshire holds no equivalent Act, so a clinic on your side of the border has no licence to apply for and none to show you. That is the legal position rather than a comment on any clinic, and it is worth understanding either way: what to ask about a laser clinic's licence.
Laser finds pigment, so it does little with white, grey or true blonde hair, and red responds weakly. Recent sun exposure, an active tan and some photosensitising medicines all rule out treatment on the day. All of it is checked at the patch test, before you have paid for a course.
What each area costs
The area treated sets the price. Your practitioner confirms which applies to you at the patch test, before anything is booked or paid for.
Courses are priced the same way at every area size. A course of six costs the same as five single sessions, so the sixth is included. A maintenance course of three costs the same as two.
| Area | Time | Single session | Course of six |
|---|---|---|---|
| Extra small Upper lip, Chin, Nipples, Stomach line, Cheek bones, Eyebrows, Fingers and toes | 15 mins | £65 | £325 |
| Small Lip and chin, Sideburns, Jawline, Underarms, Front of neck, Back of neck, Small bikini or Brazilian bikini | 25 mins | £85 | £425 |
| Medium Hollywood or Playboy bikini, Half leg, Half arm, Shoulders, Lower abdomen, Buttocks, Lower back, Full face, Upper chest | 30 mins | £115 | £575 |
| Large Full arms, Full legs, Back, Chest and abdomen | 45 mins | £150 | £750 |
Prices include VAT. Maintenance pricing and per-area booking links are on the treatment page.

Lip and facial filler
The complication that decides who should hold the needle
Anyone reading about lip filler has usually found a price before they found anything else. The price is the easy part. Hyaluronic acid filler carries one rare and serious complication, vascular occlusion, where product enters or presses on a blood vessel and cuts the blood supply to the skin that vessel feeds. Spotting it in the room and managing it in the hours that follow is a vascular skill.
Dr Shahe Boghossian is a Medical Consultant registered with the General Medical Council (GMC 5204600), with a background in vascular surgery, and he assesses and prescribes every injectable plan at the clinic. If you want the detail rather than the reassurance, we have written it up: vascular occlusion and filler safety.
Filler is £240 per ml, and the volume you need is agreed at your consultation rather than sold to you in advance. A first lip treatment often uses part of a syringe rather than all of it. Expect swelling and tenderness for 24 to 48 hours. The result is there immediately, settles over one to two weeks, and typically lasts six to eighteen months depending on the area, the product and your own metabolism.
Lips are also the area where the wrong answer is most often a smaller one. Where the concern is dryness, fine vertical lines or a lip that has lost definition rather than volume, filler may not be the treatment that fixes it. That conversation belongs at consultation, and it is a conversation we have often.

Pelvic floor and bladder control
Emsella, and the reason people drive further for it
Emsella contracts the pelvic floor for you. You sit fully clothed on the chair and a focused electromagnetic field works the muscle at an intensity no voluntary effort reaches, delivering the equivalent of 11,200 Kegel exercises in 28 minutes. Nothing is inserted, nothing is removed, and there is no undressing at any point.
A 2025 systematic review and meta-analysis in Neurourology and Urodynamics pooled seven studies and found HIFEM therapy improved ICIQ-UI SF symptom scores against control by a mean difference of 3.03 points (95% CI -3.27 to -2.79), with no safety concerns identified in most included studies. NICE guidance NG123 still puts at least three months of supervised pelvic floor muscle training first, so this suits people for whom technique or sticking to the exercises is the barrier, or who want it alongside physiotherapy.
The standard course is six sessions over three weeks, £120 a session or £600 for the course. Men are treated on the same protocol, most often for leakage following prostate surgery. Every course starts with a screening consultation, because Emsella strengthens muscle and will not repair structural damage to the sphincter or treat pelvic organ prolapse, and it is unsuitable during pregnancy or with metal implants, a copper coil or a pacemaker.

Jaz was great as always. Have just completed my 6 leg hair removal sessions, and throughout Jaz made sure I was comfortable, and looked after me and my “old” skin!
