Doctor-led aesthetics for West Bridgford and the Trent villages
Medically reviewed by Dr Shahe Boghossian, Medical Consultant, GMC 5204600. Last reviewed 16 Aug 2026.
You have aesthetic clinics within walking distance of Bridgford Road. The London Road Clinic is around 18 miles east on the A52 and A46, which makes convenience an argument we cannot win. What sits here instead is a Medical Consultant registered with the General Medical Council assessing and prescribing every injectable plan, and a clinic willing to tell you when the answer is a smaller treatment or none at all.

What the drive buys
The complication nobody quotes you a price for
Hyaluronic acid filler carries one rare and serious complication. Vascular occlusion happens when product enters or presses on a blood vessel and cuts the blood supply to the skin that vessel feeds. It is uncommon. It is also time-critical, and the window in which it can be reversed is measured in hours rather than days.
Dr Shahe Boghossian is a Medical Consultant registered with the General Medical Council (GMC 5204600), with a background in vascular surgery. He reviews and prescribes every injectable plan at the clinic. That is the reason to drive past somewhere closer, and if you are booking something other than an injectable it may well not apply to you. We have written the detail up rather than asking you to take it on trust: vascular occlusion and filler safety.
The second reason is scope. Skin quality, injectables, laser, body and hair are planned in one consultation by one clinical team, which matters when the honest answer to a lip enquiry turns out to be a skin booster, or when pigmentation needs Lumecca before anything else is worth doing. Booking that across three providers puts you in charge of sequencing decisions you were never given the information to make.
Filler is £240 per ml with volume agreed at consultation, and every price the clinic publishes is on the treatment page it belongs to. Nothing is quoted here that you cannot check there.

Skin
An assessment before a recommendation
Most skin consultations start with a look and a conversation. Ours starts with an image. Observ photographs the layers beneath the surface under several light modes, so pigment sitting in the dermis, vascular activity and accumulated sun damage all show up before any of it is visible in a mirror. It costs £50 and it changes what gets recommended more often than you would expect.
What follows depends on what the image shows. Pigmentation and vascular redness usually point to Lumecca IPL, a Cynosure device that typically needs fewer sessions than standard IPL. Texture and laxity point to Fractora radiofrequency microneedling or SkinPen. Congestion, dullness and acne point to medical-grade peels. Where the concern is skin quality rather than the surface, polynucleotides and Profhilo work through the tissue instead of on it.
The sequence matters as much as the treatment. Resurfacing pigmented skin before the pigment has been addressed tends to bring it back, which is the kind of thing a plan catches and a menu does not.

Lydia was fantastic! Super informative, really lovely and explained everything to me in detail as I had lots of questions. It really helps having someone that listens to your needs rather than just doing what they want, Lydia reallt listens!! I wasn't feeling too well during the appointment and she was really attentive and understanding. Can't wait to see the results!

Great experience. I've had alot of pigmentation for a long time that I wanted removing. Laura explained things really well. Made a plan, did a patch test and started treatment. So far it has exceeded expectations. I feel I am in safe hands and im looking forward to seeing the final result.
