What NeoGen Plasma Costs, and What the Price Should Include

NeoGen is priced by the area treated and bought as a course, so a single figure rarely tells you what you will pay. Our prices for every area, what moves the cost, and the questions that make two clinics' quotes comparable.

Portrait, a dark-haired woman in her forties, hair drawn back, against a dark aubergine curtain with a lamp glowing at the edge of the frame, freckles and fine lines unretouched.

Most people who ask what NeoGen costs have already seen a figure somewhere, and it rarely matches the next one they find. That is usually because the two figures are not describing the same thing. One is a single session on a small area, the other is a full-face course. Neither is wrong, and neither tells you what you would pay.

NeoGen is priced by the area treated, and it is bought as a course, so the answer comes in two parts: what one session costs for your area, and how many sessions your skin is likely to need.

Our prices, area by area

Every price below includes VAT and covers your treatment at whatever energy setting your clinician chooses for your skin. Nothing is added on the day for a higher setting.

AreaSingle sessionCourse of three
Lip lines£350£895
Eye area, including crow’s feet and the eyelid skin£350£895
Neck£425£1,085
Chest, to the neckline£450£1,150
Face, including the eyes£650£1,650
Face, eyes and neck£795£1,995

A course of three costs less than three single sessions. For the eye area, three separate sessions would come to £1,050 against £895 for the course.

For the two full-face areas there is also a maintenance session, priced at £495 for the face and £625 for the face and neck, available within twelve months of finishing a course.

The current figures always sit on the NeoGen treatment page. If this article and that page ever disagree, the treatment page is the one to trust.

What moves the price

The area. A larger area takes longer in the room, which is why a single session on the face, eyes and neck costs more than twice the eye area alone.

The number of sessions. Energist, who make NeoGen, set a protocol of three to six sessions, three to six weeks apart, depending on what is being treated. Our course prices cover three. After your first sessions, your clinician will tell you whether more are likely to help, and the cost of any further session is confirmed with you before it is booked.

The energy setting. Our prices are the same at every setting. The setting changes your recovery rather than your bill: higher settings mean longer redness and flaking, and the day-by-day recovery guide sets out what the studies recorded.

Maintenance. The published studies followed patients to six months, and longer-term data is limited. A maintenance session within the year is priced up front so you know that figure before you start, rather than finding out later.

How to compare two quotes

If you are pricing NeoGen at more than one clinic, these are the questions that make the figures comparable.

  1. Is the price per session or per course? And if it is a course, how many sessions does it include?
  2. Which area does it cover? “Face” at one clinic can mean the full face including the eyes; at another it may exclude them.
  3. Does a higher energy setting cost more? Ask before the consultation, not after it.
  4. What happens if you need more than the course includes? A clinic should be able to tell you what a further session costs.
  5. Who carries out the treatment? At our clinic, through the introductory period, Energist’s head of UK training oversees every NeoGen session alongside your own clinician.
  6. Is there a maintenance price? And how long after the course does it apply?

Before comparing a low headline figure with a course price, check how many sessions, which area and which setting it covers.

When NeoGen is not the better spend

NeoGen earns its place in two situations: you want no needle in your skin, or the area is the eyelid, where needling devices cannot safely go. For established scarring, rough texture or laxity across the face, Fractora has the stronger evidence and starts at £400 per session. We will tell you at consultation if we think that is the better use of your money.

Frequently asked questions

How much does NeoGen cost?
At our clinic in Newark, a single NeoGen session costs from £350 for the lip lines or the eye area, up to £795 for the face, eyes and neck. A course of three costs from £895 to £1,995 depending on the area. Every price includes VAT and covers whatever energy setting your clinician selects for your skin.
How many NeoGen sessions will I need?
Energist's protocol runs to three to six sessions, three to six weeks apart, depending on what is being treated. Our course prices cover three, which is a reasonable first course. Your clinician will tell you after assessing your skin whether more are likely to help, and what any further session would cost, before you commit to it.
Why do NeoGen prices vary so much between clinics?
Mostly because the figures describe different things. A price may cover one session or a course, a small area or the full face, a low setting or any setting. Ask each clinic the same questions about area, sessions, setting and maintenance, and the quotes become comparable.
Is a course cheaper than paying per session?
Yes. At our clinic a course of three costs less than three single sessions at every area. For the eye area, three separate sessions would cost £1,050 against £895 for the course. For the full face including the eyes, it is £1,950 against £1,650.
Do I pay more for a higher energy setting?
Not at our clinic. Each price covers your treatment at whatever energy setting your clinician selects for your skin, and nothing is added on the day. A higher setting changes your recovery, with longer redness and flaking, rather than the price.

A price only means something once you know the area, the setting and how many sessions your skin needs. A consultation settles all three before anything is booked.
